Suggested Reading List for the Summer

To increase your general overall knowledge about Food,Food Politics and Food History I recommend any of the following books for the summer.
I have read each of them, and anyone or all of them, would make for good reading this summer.

One of the Principles of the Alkaline Lifestyle is education,knowing why you do, what you do, everyday, to optimize and extend your life with vibrant Health.

If I had a favorite out of the list below it would be:

Salt,A World History by Mark Kurlansky

It is available from Audible.com as a MP3 download , if you prefer Listening to a book being read to you, rather than reading the book itself.
I have an account with Audible and recommend it.You own the actual recordings that you buy and they are available to you for Listening anywhere in the world you can get an Internet connection.It's Great if you have Wireless on your PDA or Laptop computer and are stuck in an airport some where in the world.
